Tatyana has been asking me since the beginning of this week to get her ears pierced. I told her we had to wait until today, Saturday. She's been counting the days since Tuesday and today was finally the day. She told her dad this morning: "I'm finally getting some fashion up here", pointing to her ears.
We took her to the mall and she wasn't afraid at all. I thought she was going to cry, but she was fine... They didn't even do both ears at the same time like I thought they would. Tatyana's friend, Haley, told her that if she held her breath while they were piercing her ears, it wouldn't hurt. That is why she is making funny faces on the pictures. What Tatyana had to say after all: "It didn't really work holding my breath, but it didn't hurt that much".
