Sometimes they will have Capoeira performances like this in malls or during the Brazilian Festival, but it's always so crowded that you are really not able to enjoy the Roda. Batizados are more private, just for the capoeira students and their families and friends. It's awesome!
I can get a little too obsessed about it... I invited my friend Katie and her daughter Haley to come and watch with us. It was very long and it was really hot in that room. I'm sorry Katie... You endured really well the almost 2 hours of Capoeira in that too small of a room for too many people. Of course I was okay... I couldn't stop watching it.
I can't wait for the next one!

How neat! I would love to watch Capoeira (Wish I new how to pronounce it.:) sometime too. Tatyana is so beautiful!
Love Ya,
Becky
Don't apologize! We had so much fun. We would have stayed longer, but Haley takes after her dad: she's completely heat-intolerant. She was dying. But she kept talking about it all weekend, and she keeps practicing the pronunciation. She's determined to get it perfect. :)
QUE LINDINHA rOBERTA! Eu quero muito colocar a Luana para ter esses tipos de atividades: capoeira, ballet, mas nao ando achando nada aqui, pelo Deserto, que triste ne!
