What were you thinking? It's a Brazilian Party!

It's true... No offense to all Americans, but we, Brazilians, know how to party...
Because Tatyana's, Caleb's, and Alyssa's birthdays are so close - April 20th, May 10th, and April 23rd, respectively - I decided to just have a big birthday party for all of them. Brazilian style, of course.
In a Brazilian party you have cake (or cakes in this case), no ice cream, and a lot of Brazilian candy - brigadeiro (the chocolate one), beijinho (the coconut one), and quindim (the yellow one that also has coconut in it). You always have tons of food because you want people to stay for a long time, and it's better to have left overs than to not have enough food . You invite all your family, your kids' friends and their parents, because you want to celebrate your kid's birthday with your friends and family too. There you go!
It does take a lot of work. On the other hand, I had so many people offering to help, offering to bring food to the party, that, at the end, it wasn't that bad at all!! I actually had to tell some friends that offered to bring stuff that I didn't need any more food. So many friends already doing so much for me!!! I really, really , REALLY, appreciate all your help!! Thank you so much!!
The best part of all is that I'm all done for this year!!! NO MORE BIRTHDAYS! Until next year...
Thank you all that came to the party! Thanks for being so kind and not thinking that having three birthdays together was too much! Thanks for sharing this moment with our family!

We had the birthday party at Classic Skating. It was great because I didn't have to worry about entertaining the kids. They have a DJ and games through out the party.

My sister in law, Breanne, helping me to set up the decoration. Thanks, Bre!

Tatyana's cake. She will turn 7.

Caleb's cake. He will turn 4.

Alyssa's cake. She will turn 2.

Mom, thank you so much for making all the cakes! They were beautiful! OBRIGADA MAEZINHA!

It was a fun party... Now, what am I going to do next year?

Roberta-
Reading your post brought back tons of memories from the two or three birthday parties we had so much fun attending! You do know how to party-NO doubt about it! I love how you celebrated them all on the same day. Maybe that's what we should do next year, but five cakes may be a littl much. :)
Love Ya!
